This company was set up as a joint venture with Sanden International Corporation (Japan) in 1992 with 80 million Baht registered capital and Theco holds 19% of shares. The main business is to produce and distribute car air-conditioner parts for japanese car manufacturers in Thailand such as Honda, Mazda and Isuzu. Production is carried out under the Serpentine and Multi-Flow technological system for use with R-134A refrigerant. In 1996, Sanden Theco doubled its production capacity to meet demands of its new customers. Now Sanden Theco becomes the first in Thailand to start production of compressors for car air-conditioner.

The company was established in 1993 with 10 million Baht capital as wholly owned subsidiary to manage and enhance Theco marketing operations as well as penetrate new market segments in order to gain a greater market share.
